My son is getting a BS in Health Care Policy and Administration soon. He has pretty good grades (about a 3.5). He's been interested in health care work since 15, with 1000+ hrs of volunteer work in a hospital and a nursing home, plus volunteering for a US Congressman who works on health care issues (while also working summer jobs). He really likes working with senior citizens, although he's also really great with kids. He's trying to figure out how he can have a career that will pay the bi

I like all 3 of the schools. TWU, is in Canada so I wonder if it will be a good choice for me even though I am from the states. Canadian advice is welcome as well....or anyones advice. UW is close to home but it is a large school. I plan on going into nursing, and they have one of the best in the nation. But TWU and Carroll are small schools, and they are religious. I am a christian and would like to have some form of support, and going to an affliated school would be nice. Do any of you have

This stigma of the "unnatural" beleifs of catholicism always has mystified me. While repainting the old nuns quarters in Spokane washington my father, a painter, told me about finding boxes of rubbers with in the furniture & between mattress's they had to move so they could paint.
Years later in 1971 while I was an apprentice painter & assigned by my boss to the new Sacred Heart hospital being built I was shocked to see nuns, several times, smoking cigarettes while driving in cars.
