My mother is 80 but I dont believe because of her age I should give up on her, also we are in Oklahoma, and I fed her pureed food , and there are many other things that happened in this rest home, it was suppose to be a better one , if there is such a thing, i think when people see your old they think oh well, i think she has plenty of life left, as far as the rest home i looked online , I never knew to do it before she was put in the rest home by my sister, that they had a nursing home rating

I am 18 years old and a recent high school graduate in Oklahoma. I am having some trouble deciding what job I want. I know that not having a college education or certifications of any kind leaves me limited with a good paying job. I was interested in working at Wal-Mart but they pay is only $6.65 per hour and I would only be working part-time (thats where they put me.) I have some family members that work in Nursing Homes and make $9.50 per hour (they paid $575) to get their certification. I d

I'm looking to start a new career for the state or gorvenment, but where do I begin? Will the state even hire someone without experience? All of my education is surrounds the medical field, so how can I benifit from that? My passion has been for nursing homes, but unfortunatly they don't offer health insurance in Oklahoma. As a plus I do have good office skills, and computer knowledge, but will that be enough? I've already spent 4 years going to school, and I don't want to do it again.

I don't really have enough space to go into detail here but I was just this week pretty much bullied out of my job here in Oklahoma. I am a nurse in a Home Health company in Durant. And I am nearing retirement age and was also due a raise as of the 1st of March. I think it is very ironic and not coincidental that I was pressured into leaving. I know "a whole lot" of things going on in this company that are against Medicare rules and I think Labor also. I want to "spill my guts" to the right pe

We met in Oklahoma in February 2000. We were extremely happy until a tradgic automobile accident involving Robert late December 2003. Robert was struck by an elderly woman driving a car. She was apparently driving ( according to the police report ) at a speed of approximately 60 mph down a side street and didn't stop for the stop sign, striking Robert on the driver's side of his work van and plowing him into a telephone pole. Robert suffered a tramatic brain injury, resulting in short and long

I am a Home Health nurse that requires me to drive approx 200 miles a day. I was in between patient's homes when someone stopped suddenly in front of me and I rearended them. I reported all to my boss as I should have. I went ahead and worked the 4 days after the injury, with meds and mild to moderate pain. Six days later the pain got worse, ESPECIALLY when I drove (most of my job time). I couldn't drive but just a few minutes before I start getting tingling and a numbness up my left arm
