It dosen't look good either. Shes 67, and does not want any kind of treatment. I'm 25, and in the health care industry. But I don't know anything. I don't know how to get power of attourny, or what to do if she is really ill and the hospital relases her. I can't afford to put her in a nursing home. I don't even know if I want to do that. But I can't stay home with her all day and not work. All of my family is in New Jersey, and I don't have much of a support system down here in Florida. I feel

Before anyone says, "Don't waste your time being an LPN, go right to school for RN", I am early into the LPN program as I write this and am, as of this time, only going to go for the LPN.
That said, how is the job market for LPNs in New York City? Are there alot of jobs for LPNs in NYC? How is the pay? How is the pay compared to the cost of living in NYC?
Can you think of any other places where there are plenty of jobs for LPNs that pay well and the cost of living isn't ridiculous? Somepla

I'm a nursing student and I work at a hospital close to my home. Lately I've been having trouble getting into work on time (or sometimes at all). My boss just called me to go into her office and requested that I bring a union rep with me. I think they're going to fire me..
Do I qualify for unemployment? I've been working there part time for 2.5 years. at the moment I'm working as a student extern at another hospital for the summer so it's a temporary position. Would this interfere with co

We met in Oklahoma in February 2000. We were extremely happy until a tradgic automobile accident involving Robert late December 2003. Robert was struck by an elderly woman driving a car. She was apparently driving ( according to the police report ) at a speed of approximately 60 mph down a side street and didn't stop for the stop sign, striking Robert on the driver's side of his work van and plowing him into a telephone pole. Robert suffered a tramatic brain injury, resulting in short and long

ombudsman and they checked out my complaints and they called me back and said they could not find anything. That girl is still working and is probably doing it to someone else because she can get away with it. I think they are all apart of it. I just can't prove it. I have called many differnet type of telephone numbers and nobody will do anything about it You don't even get a glass of water at your table. Only what you get at mealtime.

bulldog puppy. How do you feel about a human being 95 years old put into a nursing home because they say he is getting quality 24 hr care. You see him on so many visits to find nobody even has a glass of water sitting at their table. He is not shaved for days and he doesn't look clean his pants are spread inches apart open so that when he stands they can fall off. You and your husband witness a resident man being slapped by a worker and you report it to the New Jersey Ombudsman and they go

Right now, I'm currently working at a nursing home. It fuckin sucks!!!!!!! I'm only a waitress and have no control of the orders and how they're made ( I only serve them) and yet the old people at the nursing home complain and even threw food at me because I gave them the "wrong order" (eventhough everyone basically eats the same food.) Anyway I really want to work with animals. I love and have alot of expierence with both cats and dogs. Sorry, working at this place is making me less and less
