My 41 year old uncle has autism and is trying to live on his own after my grandma was moved to a nursing home. My family feels that his living on his own is crucial for his self esteem. Does anyone know if the state of Minnesota offers any financial help if we should need it down the road?

On September 29, 2001 I received the sad news about Aunt Valerie and Uncle Jim. At 10:32 pm I received a call from my mother, Emily, saying my aunt Valerie (age 27) and Uncle Jim (age 29) had been in a terrible car accident. They had been hit by a drunk driver while driving home from work on highway 694 West in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Something happened this day that would change lives forever, an accident that would result in many lives being lost. A Chevrolet pickup behind my Aunt and Un

My grandma is in a nursing home in Ohio and I live in Minnesota. I get down to visit her every other month or so and would like to know good gifts to give her either in the mail or in person.
So far I have given her recent pics of my brother and I, and I go out to eat with her when I am there, and we have also gone shopping and got her some new clothes and other things she needed.
Any other ideas? Thank you so much everyone!!

My wife and I are going to be moving this summer in order to attend a nursing school in Northern Minnesota. The houses that are available in our price range are either money pits or just plain old nasty. So we have decided to build a small 1,400 sq. ft. house that is designed the way we want it and is clean (unlike the other houses in the area) anyway we have run into a problem. Because we are full time students the only mortgage we are able to get is a stated income mortgage, meaning we don't

I would like to become a PT and I will be attenting winona state university in minnesota. however, wsu does not offer the graduate program for PT and i will most likely have to transfer to lacrosse, wi, or some other school near my home (minneapolis).
is it a dumb idea to go to wsu for PT? wsu is a big nursing school. they have the pre-professional program but not the graduate program.
If I go to wsu for PT, then what do I major in? do i have to major in something or can it just be called "p

I've gone insane trying to find at least one place in St Louis that has a nursing assistant certification program. I'm a CNA in Virginia but I'm trying to get my brother some info on a CNA class in his area (St Louis)
Somebody help me before I lose my mind completely. Some names of nursing homes where they train or home health agencies would probably be better (and cheaper).
Is there something about Missouri where CNA's do not have to be trained like in the rest of the country??? You type in
