Hi! I'm a freshman this year at a state university currently majoring in nursing and Russian. Recently I've been considering pursuing a degree in teaching or TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) instead of nursing but I'm wondering if this would be an unwise choice because in my home state, Michigan, teaching jobs are not very secure & also do not pay very well at all. Could you please tell me what the job situation for teachers in like in your state? Also, if anyone kno

Recently my grandmother has been diagnosed with type 2 cancer in her liver, brain, and lungs. She's just been sent home from the hospital, and my mother and I are able to tend to most of her needs, but we are not able to lift her. We would much rather keep her in her home environment to keep her comfortable, but are afraid if we cannot provide proper mobility, we might have to turn to a nursing home.
