I've been thinking about taking the 2 month program at a nursing home in the area. I know it's probably going to be a sh*tty, but I need the money right now. I'm from maine... Is anyone a CNA in the area? Do you like it? And how much do you get paid?

Hello, I looking into working for Home Health Care here in Maine. I have a residential care specialist certificate and cpr traning and worked for a year in a nursing home. I have heard of people making $20.00 an hour (private care,not through HHC) Should I put $20.00 an hour for my pay on the application?does that sound fair.

I live in the southern part of the U.S. and I have about a year and a half before I finish nursing school. My boyfriend and I plan to get married pretty soon after I get out of school. He lives with his parents right now, as do I, but all of his extended family live in Illinois, and His sister lives in Georgia. i am looking for a person to care for my father in my home. i live in biddeford maine.i would even have a place for them to live. i would require references . he needs help with dresssing and showering. he needs his meals brought to him.he is very cheerful and a joy to be around. he has reached a stage where i can no longer give him the care he needs. i need to find somone soon!! any help out there?

I want to go and work on a travel nurse position but they take all the income for housing allowance and I want to take my 18 year old daughter along. I live in a little mennonite town near Lancaster near all the Amish and New York is a few hours North, Philadelphia is an hour East, and there is washington DC and Niagra Falls 7 hours north. we have caves with christals and Indian caves, deer and horse back rides, buggy rides and you can drive to Maine for Lobster too...anybody?
