- Resolved Question: What is penalty in Kansas Law for exploiting elderly financially?
(Tue, 22 May 2007 04:46:57 GMT)

Parents agreed to have names taken off deed to house and allowed third party to take all the profit. Unless Medicaid makes an exception, they may have to pay for months of their Nursing Home care when needed. Is the party guilty of exploitation responsible to pay back the ill-gotten gain or is their jail time involved. I just don't know.

I am taliking about when they each were governor of Arkansas. I am talking about when a disabled person needed long term or nursing home care, they shruged them off to the state of Missouri and Kansas? Remember how Huckabee took care of the ones that needed help because of disabilities or age. Remember when the state of Arkansas required that elderly people could not get Rx drugs unless the cost was twice what their income or Social Security was.
And by the way, Bill Clinton was the same way w

Hopeful new research shows that chronic fatigue syndrome may have a genetic basis.
by Nancy G. Klimas, M.D.
Until recently, the prognosis for a patient diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) was bleak. The illness has no recognized cure, let alone specific tests to diagnose it??just a bewildering set of symptoms, including utter exhaustion and debilitating pain in joints and muscles. Without a clear medical explanation, patients also face a confused response from family
- Resolved Question: CNA Question....?

I just started my CNA class today, and my instructor told us that once we pass our 40 hour checklist, we can get a job at a nursing home or hospital. I was wondering if anyone has done this, or if they know what the rules are. I am in Kansas, so I don't know if the rules are different in other states. I was also wondering if the pay would be that much different from when I pass the state test?
