I am wanting a career change and I am thinking about becoming a CNA. I have no problem with the education, I am wondering though what is all involved in the job, do you have to work in a nursing home? Ive looked on the local website(Iowa) and the schooling is only 3 weeks, can this be right? Also what is the base pay for a new CNA? I know there are alot of questions I have asked, but if someone could help me out I would be truly greatfull. I just want to make the best choice possible. Th

Hi, I am the proud mother of a 21 month old girl, a 4 month old boy, 1 one year old aussie mix and a 4 month old pure aussie. I am a stay at home mom and am 20 years old. Hi, looking for good stay at home jobs for a mother of two small children 10-30 hrs a week(if I could take my kids with me out of home would be ok I just can't afford daycare in des moines metro area). I do not have room for a day care, I love animals, children( I myself am only 20) I have 2 australian sheperds, I like exercise, running, I am a speed reader(I dont know the real term for it) I enjoy being around the mentally disabled, I have a certified nursing assisstant certificate 70 hr.? I

I called my sis in Tx. 3 days into what turned out to be power outages in thousands of homes,closed interstate 80 and took down high lines like broken matchsticks and she said there was nothing in the Dallas newspaper or on tv about it! We went to a motel 20 miles form here and just barely got a room in time before they filled up.
1500 volunteers from several states including Ga. andKentucky came to help get power up but many areas without it for 12 days and some still don't have it. Nursing
