Open Question: I am retiring in CA in 18 months. House is upside down by 100k. If I file b-ruptcy, will I lose my 401K?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 19:49:44 GMT)
I am retiring at age 62. I have about 100,000 in 401. I owe 320K on a house that is now only worth 220K and about 40K in CC debt. I was planning on working until I was 65 to pay off the CC debt and hope that the market stabalized, but my health has greatly deminished. I must retire and mvoe out of CA. I think my only option is to file ch7 and let them have the house. My wife and I both have 7 year old cars that are paid off. I am really only worried about my retirement. I will be drawing about 1700/mo in Social Security to live off of. I am just trying to get ahead of this situation that I see coming. I am open to all advise. -- Thanks --

Open Question: Where to Invest for Retirement?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 17:15:44 GMT)
Hello, Im 20 years old and plan to invest in Roth IRAs very soon, as well as opening up a 401K with my company. However, Roth IRAs and 401ks, from my understanding, penalize you if you pull out money before youre 59. I intend on retiring at 40. Where should i pool in my money if i dont want to be penalized? Should i start learning the ropes of the Stock Market, or is there a different Retirement plan i can look into? Thank-you!

Open Question: Traditionalist neighbor is freaking?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 16:14:53 GMT)
Friends with a neighbor, we talk sometimes when our kids play together. She is a happy SAHM of two boys, 14 month old and 6 year old. I know she's very religious and a traditionalist...women should stay at home, men should make the decisions/be head of house holds ect. We have had discussions about such before(with untamed biting her tongue a lot...I like her and her kids, but very much disagree with her on many issues). Well after 12 years in the military her husband has decided that he has had enough, he turned down his reenlistment option. He announced this over dinner a few days ago. So he is going to finish up his time, about another six months then go get a job in a similar field as a civilian. So her head of household made a decision and she is panicking, thought they would be a military family for another eight years at least, then they would have his retirement pay and life long health care. She's worried about their future, him finding a job, health care(there youngest has some serious health problems) where they will live ect ect But the thing that really bothers me about this...is her husband didnt talk about this her first, he made his decision and announced it. She says thats how it's done. It is his career...he has every right to be happy in his career and make changes if needed....but shouldn't major life changing decisions be discussed between a couple prior to making the change? How common is this in traditional couples? (I get the impression from her, that she feels guilty for being worried and upset...that others wouldn't approve of her distrust in her husbands decisions. She even said she couldnt talk about this to her relatives and friends from church hence why she ranted and "cried" on my shoulder instead) I really dont get how this power structure could ever lead to or be a successful relationship.

Open Question: Can anyone tell me the point of putting Career vs Streak on HBK vs Taker II (details inside)?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 15:18:09 GMT)
Ok, I believe everyone dead and live knew even if HBK loses he will be back by summer like nothing ever happened. Why people bought the possibility of HBK retires if he loses is beyond me. This match got interference by HHH written all over it. One reason I truly don't think HBK will retire is this: If he's done, that means the last few months of his career were spent acting like a psycho, destroying DX on a very anti-climactic note, and alienating himself from everybody else. So he acts like a mad dog, attacks referees and random people, and then suddenly the locker room comes out to give him an ovation for his career? I don't see it happening. I think when he retires we'll get at least one more HBK/HHH match for old time's sake and probably a few other last hurrahs as well. Since when a retirement match means something in WWE? Savage won the WWE title a year after his. Funk wrestled after his. Hogan wrestled after his. And for the love of God, Ric Flair just wrestled last week after his! When this feud turns out to be HHH vs HBK all along, Taker's involvement will be forgotten like a loser.

Open Question: Personality disorders?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 14:52:02 GMT)
Sam is hyper-vigilant and anxious, anhedonia and dysphoria and doesn't like sex ( thinks it's a waste of time. ) He is consistently and repeatedly victimized by his clients, for instance. They take credit for his ideas and leverage them to promote themselves, but then fail to re-hire him as a consultant. Ani is serving time in prison, He looks completely puzzled and disdainful when I ask him why he did what he did. "For the money, of course" - he blurts out impatiently and then recomposes himself: "Had this panned out, these guys would have had a great retirement, far better than their meager and laughable pensions could provide." Can he describe his typical "customer"? Of course he can - he is nothing if not thorough. He provides me with a litany of detailed demographics. No, I say - I am interested to know about their wishes, hopes, needs, fears, backgrounds, families, emotions. He is stumped for a moment: "Why would I want to know these data? It's not like I was their bloody grandson, or something!" Ani is contemptuous towards the "meek and weak". Dal is an attractive young woman but seems to be unable to maintain a stable sense of self-worth and self-esteem. Her confidence in her ability to "hold on to men" is at a low ebb, having just parted ways with "the love of her life". In the last year alone she confesses to having had six "serious relationships". Dal likes to "live dangerously, on the edge." She does drugs occasionally - "not a habit, just for recreation", she assures me. She is a shopaholic and often finds herself mired in debts. Mark sits where instructed, erect but listless. When I ask him how he feels about attending therapy, he shrugs and mumbles "OK, I guess". He rarely twitches or flexes his muscles or in any way deviates from the posture he has assumed early on. He reacts with invariable, almost robotic equanimity to the most intrusive queries on my part. He shows no feelings when we discuss his uneventful childhood, his parents ("of course I love them"), and sad and happy moments he recollects at my request. Mark veers between being bored with our encounter and being annoyed by it. How would he describe his relationships with other people? He has none that he can think of. In whom does he confide? He eyes me quizzically: "confide?" Who are his friends? Does he have a girlfriend? No. He shares pressing problems with his mother and sister, he finally remembers. When was the last time he spoke to them? More than two years ago, he thinks "I would like to be normal" - says Gladys and blushes purple. In which sense is she abnormal? She prefers reading books and watching movies with her elderly mother to going out with her colleagues to the occasional office party. Maybe she doesn't feel close to them? How long has she been working with these people? Eight years in the same firm and "not one raise in salary" - she blurts out, evidently hurt. Her boss bullies her publicly and the searing shame of it all prevents her from socializing with peers, suppliers, and clients. El-Or's real name is George. He changed it as a result of an epiphany he experienced at the tender age of 9 when he encountered an alien spaceship in his back yard and "in all probability" was abducted by its crew. Can't he remember for sure? It's all kind of fuzzy, but ever since then he has had numerous out of body experiences and has developed psychic capabilities such as clairvoyance and remote viewing. "I can see that you don't believe a word of it." - he declaims bitterly - "You probably can't wait to tell the other therapists here about me and have a good laugh at my expense." I remind him that therapy sessions are strictly confidential but he nods his head sagely: "Yeah, sure, whatever you say, Doc." El-Or, wounded by my skepticism, lapses into his own private language: "The locust days are here and the wise shall behold and not see, hear the deafening and yet not be lifted." Can he help me understand what he just said? "Your crown is naked, councillor, 'tis there to fathom and yours to cling to. All your kind shall perish if you forsake not your mind's cage." In other words: I better believe what he tells me and give up my prejudices - or I shall be rendered obsolete and dispensable when the time comes. El-Or firmly believes that Earth is about to be overtaken by alien species. They are already here, scouting the land and choosing who will be "lifted" and who will "perish". Many adepts have defected to "their" side and are collaborating with the aliens in the subjugation of Mankind and the ultimate conquest of our planet. El-Or, though, has decided not to betray his kind. His self-assigned mission is to warn of the impending doom and save as many "enlightened" souls as he can. Hence his irritation with my attempts to puncture holes in his scenario. These are just a few cases I need some help with. You have have to answer the questions that are asked in the message just help me Identify the disorders. Tha

Open Question: How do you trust again and go on?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 14:41:11 GMT)
My boyfriend of 11 yrs, live with me and my two teens. It was understood I never wanted to marry, but I always told him I was planning my life with him. Retirement, etc. Well, I found out that he's been writing to TONS of women online from all dating websites, craigslist, yahoo personals, etc. Everyone! After reading these emails, I feel like I totally don't even know the man anymore. And on top of it all, he even tried to "hook up" with a woman for a drink the day one of my newborn grandson's died! He's been there for me, and my daughter and now he says he's sorry, won't write women again, and that talk is cheap and he never actually cheated. But I don't believe him. He's been "writing" for at least 5 yrs. that I found. What do I do? He asked me to give him a chance, but can I?

Resolved Question: What advice do you have for me regarding this situation?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 12:09:19 GMT)
My brother in law who lives on the opposite coast got himself into major financial trouble. My husband wants to give him a loan of which we can barely afford and which I am reluctant to give b/c his brother is used to the "good" life and does not seem to have learned any financial lessons. Case in point: He bought an iphone when he pretty much lost everything. He had 2 impractical vehicles (big truck & leased BMW - expensive townhouse - top of the line stuff in the townhouse - etc.) We don't know the loan amount but that he can pay back $200 a month. We've had creditors call us b/c he owes them money. He owed the state taxes. I don't feel good about this at all. We can barely afford it so I have to tell my husband that whatever we give - we have to be prepared to take it as a loss. I have loaned money to friends and have not been paid back. -- What kills me about this is that his brother in law is absolutely ignorant when it comes to finances. He wants to impress. He is depressed that his life is the way that it is but he doesn't seem to connect the dots. He was overspending his means by a huge amount. He blames others. He was a bit mean to his ex-girlfriend - making snide comments about her inability to afford a BMW like him. He also made remarks to his brother and me - indirect really about how we weren't living it up like him. His brother also slept with my husband's ex-wife. At the time - from what I've been told - he didn't seem to get that what he did was wrong. -- I'm just beside myself. I need some advice. Please be kind. Can you see why I'm not feeling good about lending this guy money? It would be different if we could afford to but we really can't. We have already been sacrificing and cutting back for years. We have built up a savings in case we hit a rough patch. I don't even think he has a retirement savings and he's not that far from 40. He wants his own place. I say that he should try to rent a room from someone (house) or see if he can stay with someone from work temporarily. He doesn't have a vehicle. He lost his vehicle b/c he's still stupid with finances and paying bills. I don't think he's stupid. I think he's ignorant and closed. He has a good job. Ironically, he is a finance manager. He also does sales. But he's making a lot less. What he sells is highly cyclical - dependent completely on the economy. Shouldn't he have seen this coming? Thank you. I will talk to him. My husband knows how I feel. We've talked about it before. My husband was almost in the same position. I got him out of it. He told his brother that - so why his brother isn't coming to me for some advice - I don't know. Maybe embarrassed but I already know. I have experience in finance professionally. My parents taught me money management early on. By saying no, does that make me seem insensitive and cold? I don't think so in this case b/c of the circumstances. He got himself into this mess. Before everything fell apart - I did advocate for savings and not spending it all before it was earned. I don't think so in this case b/c of the circumstances. He got himself into this mess. Before everything fell apart - I did advocate for savings and not spending it all before it was earned. I don't think so in this case b/c of the circumstances. He got himself into this mess. Before everything fell apart - I did advocate for savings and not spending it all before it was earned. I just did. I said "no". I was brave. It's hard to say no. But you know - forget him. Who buys an iphone when you don't need it b/c he already had a smart phone? Isn't a place to live and a car to get to work a bit more important? He has no kids - no wife. He should be able to afford himself. He had at least 2 gaming systems. Xbox - PS3 - etc. Flat screen tv - etc. etc. We don't even have that.

Open Question: What is the state retirement age and pension of old folk in France and Germany compared to the UK?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 07:29:32 GMT)
...... compared to the UK, currently set at 65 and drawing around an estimated £100 per week, but age to retirement will rise, even if the Conservatives win the election.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8294251.stm As the UK is now in the EU, and as the EU like to HARMONISE everything, shouldn't retirement ages also be harmonised? Open Question: Can I get into an Ivy League if I got a C in Honors Algebra 2A as a Freshman?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 03:55:05 GMT)
Last semester was my first semester in High School (Freshman). I got an A in Honors History, Honors Biology, and Advanced Orchestra; I got a B in Beginning Dance and Honors Tenth Grade British Literature and a C+ in Honors Algebra 2A. I had a very difficult time adjusting to high school because I have OCD, which distracted me from my work. I transfered into regular Algebra 2B and I am aiming for straight A's this semester. Next year I plan on switching back into Honors Pre-Calc. I also, next year, I plan on taking AP classes to boost my GPA, start a "Free the Slaves Club" (something I have wanted to do for a very long time, not just for credit), continuing viola, continuing singing, continuing my after-school language, and volunteering at the retirement home, pet shelter and homeless shelter. Is there anyway I can get into Harvard with a bad first semester report card?

Why is it that everyone thinks that the only one that gets hurt when some one sticks it to big corporation is fat cats? Open Question: What should I do for my 401k?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 03:11:04 GMT)
Alright, so I know I should start saving for retirement as soon as possible. I've been reading about a lot of retirement online, but I'm still confused. It's nothing I've been taking TOO seriously, but today at work I had a meeting about the fact I know meet the qualifications for my company's 401k. Now, I'm only 18 so I know nothing about retirement, or stocks, or anything of the nature. The only information I got was I could distribute my funds in stocks, bonds, and trusts. Also, my company will match the first 2.5% of my salary that I put in, so I was told in order to get the most "free money" I should put in at least 2.5%. Now, I was thinking of doing about 10% (after my company match would end up being like 12.5%), but in terms of the stocks, bonds, etc, I am totally confused. Now, based on all the information I got in this meeting, the more risky, the larger your pay out could be. So...after all my options I though of going for the vanguard 500. I guess the vanguard 500 is a mid risk mid reward level that distributes your money into largely known stocks, such at AT&T, Exxon, google, etc. Not only do I want to know if this is a good idea, I also wanna know more details about my other options, and reasons behind what you think is best. Please, don't tell me to put everything in one group without telling me why. I want as much knowledge on this as possible as we are discussing my future hear. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Open Question: Since inflation is going to occur anyways, shouldn't people convert all their savings into tangible assets?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 02:23:09 GMT)
Why do people put money towards retirement when inflation is going to occur anyways? People should buy stuff like gold and silver because you never know what your money will be worth in 10 or 20 years. Why do people SAVE then?

Open Question: I'm up @@@@'s creek without a paddle....How do I cope knowing what will happen?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 02:21:33 GMT)
I have a stressful job and am just thankful if I can keep it or not experience any stress on a given day. Sometimes i look at my bank balance and am happy i saved a bit. However, I support myself and have no other support - have a hard time making friends. "Dating" is out of the question. I know someday I will be ill and no one will take care of me. I'll age and have a chronic illness at some point, in which case I'll be horribly depressed because no one will look after me. I see this as a future I can't avoid being from the US, and the US has no safety net for old alone people. The current system will be crap by retirement age. How do I avoid the above fate? I think I will kill myself if that happens - I really don't want to, so I need to drastically change my outlook on reality today, since I can't avoid the inevitable. I dread the future because i know someday i will be completely alone & ill and no one will take care of me. How can i be happy TODAY knowing this.....any philosophies or worldviews that will help?

Open Question: 401k hardship withdrawal hick-up?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 02:04:38 GMT)
We'd like to make a 401k hardship withdrawal to use the funds towards down payment of a house (my wife and I are first-time home buyers). We have about 40k in the 401k (fully vested) and after paying 10% penalty and fed&state taxes, we should remain with about 25k. Now, we learned from our plan administrator (ING) that things are not so simple: first we have to "exhaust all other loan options". This means concretely that we have to borrow about 20k from the 401k and pay it back with 5% interest. Only the remaining 20k can be used for a hardship withdrawal. This kind of defeats the purpose of what we want to do, namely to generate as much hard cash from the 401k as possible which then can be used towards the down payment. The question is if the practice of requiring to exhaust all other loan options is legal and if others have heard about similar "gates" that are throws up by the plan administrators. Also, we were wondering if there is another way to get the full money applied towards the withdrawal (and none against a loan). Of course we know that some people think that it is a bad idea to make early withdrawals from a 401k. We took into account in the decision to case out the 401k not only the nerve-wrecking ups-and-downs in 401k plans over the past 2-3 years, but also the recent rumors that the US government might turn 401k plans into annuity plans at some point in the future to finance the public debt (effectively turning your contributions into a government IOU for retirement). I appreciated all responses so far, thanks a lot! So far the responses are missing the point, which I try to clarify better: this is a technical question of how to extract a maximum amount of cash out of the 401k and whether a 401k plan administrator is actually permitted to throw up gates by demanding to exhaust all other loan options first. Whether it makes sense financially or whether this is against the spirit of 401k based retirement plans is not the question.

Open Question: what should i do about this guy at work?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 01:58:34 GMT)
so i work as a waitress at a retirement home, and one of the chefs the other day asked me to see a movie. hes 28, and im 17. i said maybe, cause i didnt know what to say. i obviously didnt go, and today at work he was like, "you didnt call last night", and i told him i ended up having plans. then later i was talking to one of the other chefs, and she said that apparently the chef thought i was 19, not 17. and that he was embarrased. but even if i were 19 that would still be kinda gross.. did i mention he has an 8 year old son? yeeea but i think he knew i was 17, because he asked one of the other girls i work with who is also 17 to see a movie, and she was like, im 17, cant you find someone your own age? and he said probably not. i find it disgusting that he would even ask me. and should he have asked how old i was before he asked me out. so yea now its super awkward around him, and i dont even know how to act. should i just act normal? im going to be seeing him alot at work.

Resolved Question: Is this what Barack Obama has planned for us?
(Wed, 17 Mar 2010 00:37:14 GMT)
The Dinner Roll .. Once upon a time I was invited to the White House for a private dinner with the President. I am a respected businessman, with a factory that produces memory chips for computers and portable electronics. There was some talk that my industry was being scrutinized by the administration, but I paid it no mind. I live in a FREE country. There's nothing that the government can do to me if I've broken no laws. My wealth was EARNED honestly, and an invitation to dinner with an American President is an honor. I checked my coat, was greeted by the Chief of Staff, and joined the President in a yellow dining room. We sat across from each other at a table draped in white linen. The Great Seal was embossed on the china. Uniformed staff served our dinner. The meal was served, and I was startled when my waiter suddenly reached out, plucked a dinner roll off my plate and began nibbling it as he walked back to the kitchen.. "Sorry 'bout that," said the President. "Andrew is very hungry." "I don't appreciate..." I began, but as I looked into the calm brown eyes across from me, I felt immediately guilty and petty. It was just a dinner roll. "Of course," I concluded, and reached for my glass. Before I could, however, another waiter reached forward, took the glass away and swallowed the wine in a single gulp. "And his brother, Eric, is very thirsty," said the President. I didn't say anything. The President is testing my compassion, I thought. I withheld my comments and decided to play along. I don't want to seem unkind.. My plate was whisked away before I had tasted a bite. "Eric's children are also quite hungry." With a lurch, I crashed to the floor. My chair had been pulled out from under me. I stood, brushing myself off angrily, and watched as it was carried from the room. And their grandmother can't stand for long." I excused myself, smiling outwardly, but inside feeling like a fool. Obviously I had been invited to the White House to be sport for some game. I reached for my coat, to find that it had been taken. I turned back to the President. "Their grandfather doesn't like the cold." I wanted to shout, "that was my coat!" But again, I looked at the placid smiling face of my host and decided I was being a poor sport. I spread my hands helplessly and chuckled. Then I felt my hip pocket and realized my wallet was gone. I excused myself and walked to a phone on an elegant side table. I learned shortly that my credit cards had been maxed out, my bank accounts emptied, my retirement and equity portfolios had vanished, and my wife had been thrown out of our home. Apparently, the waiters and their families were moving in. The President hadn't moved or spoken as I learned all this, but finally I lowered the phone into its cradle and turned to face him. "Andrew's whole family has made bad financial decisions. They haven't planned for retirement and they need a house. They recently defaulted on a subprime mortgage. I told them they could have your home. They need it more than you do." My hands were shaking. I felt faint I stumbled back to the table and knelt on the floor. The President cheerfully cut his meat, ate his steak, and drank his wine. I lowered my eyes and stared at the small grey circles on the tablecloth that were water drops. "By the way," he added, "I have just signed an Executive Order nationalizing your factories. I'm firing you as head of your business. I'll be operating the firm now for the benefit of all mankind. There's a whole bunch of Erics and Andrews out there and they can't come to you for jobs groveling like beggars...we need to spread YOUR wealth around..." I looked up. The President dropped his spoon into the empty ramekin which had been his crème Brule. He drained the last drops of his wine. As the table was cleared, he lit a cigarette and leaned back in his chair. He stared at me. I clung to the edge of the table as if it were a ledge and I were a man hanging over an abyss. I thought of the years behind me, of the life I had lived. The life I had earned with a lifetime of work, risk and struggle. Why was I punished? How had I allowed it to be taken? What game had I played and lost? I looked across the table and noticed with some surprise that there was no game board between us. What had I done wrong? As if answering the unspoken thought, President Obama suddenly cocked his head, locked his empty eyes to mine, and bared a million teeth, chuckling wryly as he folded his hands. "You should have stopped me at the dinner roll," he said.

Open Question: Finance question about after-tax return.?
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 23:57:40 GMT)
Hi, can someone please answer this question for me. I need it for extra credit. Any help would be great. Thanks! Formulate the return objective for Joe Smart, Who is planning to retire in 5 years. Joes’s current spending needs of $120,000 per year are currently met by his salary, which is indexed to inflation. Joe expects to continue his current lifestyle even after his salary stops. Assume that inflation is expected to be 3 % per year, and Joe’s income and capital gains are taxed at 35%. Upon retirement Joe will have a retirement account of $1,500,000 after taxes. He plans to invest the proceeds to fund his future spending requirements. What is Joe’s real after-tax return requirement?

Open Question: Has the economy left Americans stressed about finances, work, unemployment, ect.?
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 19:45:39 GMT)
Has the economy left Americans stressed about finances, work, unemployment, ect.? A lot of people are out of work and many people lost a lot of money in their 401K retirement plans last year. I've also noticed that many who are employed seem to be over worked at their jobs and at times worried about job security. So do you think that the economy has left many people with lots of worries?

Open Question: How would someone with a disability that receives SSI save for retirement?
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 18:13:09 GMT)
I know a young man who is doing quite well and has a full time job (not rich by any means) but he is looking to save for retirement. Are there any options to save for retirement that won't affect his SSI? He cannot have over $2000 in assets in any given month.

Open Question: To avoid deficit and financial problems in the future, why not bring back the Bush team along with Wall Street?
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 17:16:01 GMT)
and let them handle it? We could bring back Greenspan and the crew, let the banks and hedge funds sell credit default swaps against Treasury Bonds. securitize our debt into trauches and sell it with AAA ratings, with the help of Moody's of course. Goldman and Morgan Stanley could package our national debt into CDO's and sell them to Martian Retirement Funds. Does Chris Dodd not understand this? I say deregulate the financials institutions now and let them get on with fixing our problems.

Open Question: Divorce question, regarding my husband past divorce?
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 16:03:31 GMT)
my husband and his ex-wife had it written in the divorce settlement that each would keep the other the primary beneficiaries on their life insurance, retirement and deferred compensation, until their daughter turns 25. that will be in about 2yrs and 8mo. He named me executor of his will naming me soul beneficary as well as changing his life insurance, retirement and deferred comp over in my name.then we were told that the divorce settelment over rides the will and his naming me beneficary..QUESTION: how can we change this divorce settlement? she will not agree to it, unless its left to her daughter, that leaves me with a lot of loans, credit cards, and misc bills that are in his name, many he had prior to our marriage.

Open Question: What would you to do for a Movie About Roger Federer?
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 10:11:27 GMT)
It's going to be Semi-Autobographical Movie My title would be: One Way, One Man, One Champion Roger Federer... I think Federer would be best played by Joaquin Phoenix no one else can play Federer than that guy.. That i know off... I would definetly do it as a trilogy, you cant realy document the Federer Story into 1 movie - mainly because his winning span ranges from 2003-2010 because he is so.. consistent.. I would try to emulate the view on televisions... So the three movies would be about... Movie One: Child Hood - The Whole Travelling around Europe with his friend and mentor - Rise to Fame - Death of Mentor - Then End with his Wimbledon win. so Childhood-2003 Movie Two: Would be the Federer domination era of 2004-2007... This one i would try to emulate how everyone spoke of federer as "Perfection" "Defined by his soules face" "Great shot but yet not a smile.", Then the movie be contrasted by the rise of Rafael Nadal obviously will catch drama from the 2007 wimbledon final followed by a series of downtime in much on most of 2008 (Aus Open Semis - Nadal Domination in French Open). The Peak would be the whole of 2008 the highest point will be the 2008 Wimbledon Final (super epic) strictly. The movie will end with the U.S open final win in 2008. Movie Three: this will be 2009-Retirement. Will Start with Tabloids speaking about Doubts about the Federer Game and how it will hold of up. Also the quote of Andy Roddick "(on thought about Federer decliining) Australian Open Semi-Final, French open Final, Wimbledon Final and the US open Crown. I wish I was Federer he is the only one on earth who can make that sound bad."..... Of course his heartbreaking loss in the 2009 Australian Open loss and the Miami Racket Smash and the several month Title drought, i will draw on to high light the dark time.... As well i will make highlight of the Nadal crazy dominance, at this time no one could win a heated match with Nadal he was un-stopable (he won 5 titles in the first six months of the year Hardcourt and Clay he was 5thousand points ahead Federer). Then comes ofcourse the Madrid madrid miracle win- French (long time coming) - The Wimbledon 2009 (epic) 5 set 16/14 game in the end. Then what comes next is the future. I might draw on the start of his family, revisiting memories of his coach. How his retirement was and stuff. On the credits i'll have like High Lights of the real Federer Playing and list all of his Records and Achievements. (SKIP TO HERE IF YOU WANT) What would you do?

Open Question: What life goal should I set? I got lost and not motivated to do anything else?
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 08:55:41 GMT)
I am 50, married with a nice husband. 1 daughter is going to graduate after 2 yrs. I have an fully-paid apartment, retirement fund ready...It seems I am not motivated to do anything else. I am on my own insurance business. I just stay at home and doesn't want to call any customers at all. I feel bored. I used to no. 1 in my former company for 5 consecutive years. It looks I have nothing and like a looser, failure... What can I motivate myself to be active again? Always day dreaming, dreaming the past... Mid life crisis?? What exactly does it mean? I have almost taken a break for 1 1/2 years...on and off doing my job. I used to work 6 days a week and 12 hrs a day but I did not even want to work for 2 hrs a day and not even want to do exercise. My hse is just like a mess. My folders are all mixed up. But if you ask me to retire, I feel I will be even more bored!!!! Always day dreaming and no life goal. It looks I have everything at present moment.

Resolved Question: Have times changed so much that the youth of today have no consideration for their aging parents?

This question stems from that poor lady who has her kids begging off her so much she can't pay her own bills. Resolved Question: My best friend of over 35 years is married to my wifes best friend.?
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 00:31:07 GMT)
So over the years, we have seen each other thru it all. Recently I lost my job of over 25 years, plus my retirement, medical insurance,etc...tough at anytime, but especially when you have 2 daughters in college, and my wife has breast cancer..The next week, my wifes mom died.We lived in California and my wife needed to get to Indiana to make arrangements for her mom. My great friend, made all the arrangements, went and got the girls at school, flew my wife, daughters and me to Indiana. Gave my wife a charge card and told her to use it for any expenses...we would work it all out later. Then a few days later my friend and his wife, and 5 out of 6 of their kids flew to Indiana to attend the funeral and bring the girls back to school, while we stayed to straighten things out. How do you repay your best friend...how do you express that in the worse of times they were there...what can we do?.

Open Question: who do you think will win at wrestlemania 26? heres my prediction?
(Mon, 15 Mar 2010 21:39:05 GMT)
ok here are the matches so far!!!!!! Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker 2 MY prediction: this match has been highly talked over for months now, everyone seems to be doubting the ''Heart Break Kid'' but i think this will be his Swan Song, so im going with Shawn Michaels defeating the Undertaker in an epic battle to the end....also because the statement Shawn said ''no one says perfect forever'' then Shawn will announce his retirement even after winning on Raw Sheamus vs. Triple H MY predictions: this will also be a great match, Sheamus will win in some dumb way like he did when he supposely beat John Cena in that tables match :/ EDGE vs Chris Jericho MY predictions: on paper it doesn't look like that much of a match-up and it prolly won't steal the show but it will keep fans interested EDGE wins becomes CHAMP with a SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR! John Cena vs. Baustita my prediction: no one can deny that John Cena is the face of the WWE as of now, movies, commercials, magazines, etc etc in my opinion the most over-rated wrestler ever, don't get me wrong he seems like an awesome guy to hang with and stuff but he really isn't that impressive in the ring kinda boring actually now the rapper Cena was ok though go back to that guy Cena!!!! Baustita is on this heel-trip which has gottin worse basically Mcmahon right hand man, so i think Cena pulls the upset and regains his title a typical Hero beats the Villian match Bret Hart vs. the boss MY prediction: 13 years in the making i say Bret wins and then finally gets this feud settled Money in the Bank Match Drew McIntyre vs Evan Bourne vs Kane vs Dolph Ziggler vs SHelton Benjamin vs Matt Hardy vs Christian vs Jack Swagger MY predictions: since there is alot of ''contenders'' im gonna pick 2 possible winners........Christian or Drew McIntyre............If Christian wins i think he will challenge Edge if he beats JeriJoke rekindling some old flames but as rivals not tag team partners if Drew McInyre wins i will not be surprised he will vacate his title and they will hold a tourney for that and he'll challenge Edge as well EITHER ONE SEEMS KINDA OBVIOUS SELECTIONS Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk (hair vs mask) MY prediction: this is defintily a great match up both are fast high flying kicking dudes The Straight Society thing though is gettin really old and im tired of Punk's Preachin......Rey will win simply because he and the WWE makes too much money for him to lose his mask Punk goes bald and still preaches afterwards unfortunately Randy Orton vs Ted Debiase vs Cody Rhodes MY prediction: it hasn't been announced yet but i guarentee they will tommorrow some how some way, Orton wins and leaves Legacy the two youngsters will be the next contenders for the Unified Tag Titles Show-Miz vs John Morrison and R-Truth MY prediction: Show-Miz wins by cheating this match aint really a big deal John Morrison and R-Truth aren't big enough to win titles but the fan-base like them a hell of alot

Resolved Question: Am I being too harsh with my husband?
(Mon, 15 Mar 2010 21:32:40 GMT)
My husband does nothing around the house. He was an only child & his mother wouldn't let him do things around the house, because she didn't want him to be a laborer for a living. When we got married he was the "money man". What I mean by that is he is good with managing money, saving for retirement, putting money away for the kid's education, etc. I do admit that before we got married I struggled financially, now we have no problems with money. He always says that if he can pay someone less money to do something than he makes in an hour, then it's best to just pay someone and go to work, or relax. I like to save money & do things around the house myself. I am always doing some type of construction project, or something in the garden. Right now, I'm building a room onto our house, with help from my dad & friends. My husband will lay on the couch and watch me do all this work by myself. He says that if I like to do optional projects on my own, then why should he help. He says that he "hates" that type of work & worked hard getting his education so that he would never have to do it & that I want another room that we can hire a contractor. I'm starting to see my husband as lazy & I called him lazy last week. Since I did that he really hasn't come home much. He has been staying with his dad & he won't talk to me much. Now my husband will help out with the kids, cooking, dishes, etc, but he draws the line there. Am I being too harsh on my husband? Or is he just lazy?

Resolved Question: Why are Americans generally so irresponsible when it comes to avoiding debt and saving money?
(Mon, 15 Mar 2010 21:29:32 GMT)
There is really no excuse - Americans make more in salary (on average) than most other countries, except for a few countries in Europe. That means that the average American has plenty of opportunities to save money for retirement and for emergencies. And yet - the average American worker has less than $10,000 in total retirement savings! The average American household has around $9,000 in credit card debts. Many Americans save so little money that they can't even pay for their own healthcare coverage if they lose their jobs. What the heck is up with this? I remember being in Germany, and even though people make less money on average than Americans, they saved a lot more, and they could afford nice stuff like yearly beach vacations to Thailand, simply by managing their money carefully. Why haven't Americans done the same? "Who the hell are you?" I'm an American born and raised in Texas, you moron.
