BOISE, Idaho (AP) â?? Hit the mute button for a moment of silence: The co-inventor of the TV remote, Robert Adler, has died.
Adler, who won an Emmy Award along with fellow engineer Eugene Polley for the device that made the couch potato possible, died Thursday of heart failure at a Boise nursing home at 93, Zenith Electronics Corp. said Friday

I have an uncle, he is about 55 and he has parkinsons disease, he has no insurance and we live in Idaho. He has to take alot of medicine. He always forgets to take his medicine, and he confuses himself on which meds to take. He is constantly having hallucinations. My dad, mom, brother, my cousin, and I are my Uncle's only family. I injuried my shoulder on the job. This is a nursing home and I fell in the shower while helping a resident. (Injury was 1/39/2005...had surgery 8/12/2005). I had to have surgery and I was put on lite duty. Now after this time, my shoulder is healing, however, I do not have the strength that is needed for transfering and helping the residents for their safety and mine.
